President:
A. Hold Board Meetings once a month before general meeting.
B. Create agenda for each general meeting
C. Help other officers when they need it
D. Make sure it all happens
E. Write monthly article for the newsletter and get it to
the Secretary on time.
F. Reserve room for next year with Dirty Daves, MUST BE DONE
IMMDIATELY. ON
ELECTION NIGHT. Check at front counter, they will help you.
Vice President:
A. Assume duties of President when necessary
B. Provide speaker or entertainment
for general meetings (everyone, including
members, should help you do this) we have paid speakers in the past to
get them to come.
C. Take care of presentation needs for speakers i.e. screens,
projectors, extension cords, etc. again, just ask and you 'will
get help. Very important to make sure there
is a screen there, etc.
Treasurer:
A. Take care of the money
B. Works closely with Secretary on membership
C. Buys dinner for speaker from club funds
Secretary:
A. Most important job in club. Getting newsletter out on time
every month.
B. Keeps track of membership, issues membership cards, gets
money to Treasurer.
C. Circulates the sign up sheet at all the meetings
D. Manages Kelp Krawler elist
Historian/Diving Officer:
A. Keeps any documents, tapes, pictures, etc. that are of some
value to the club
B. Organizes monthly club dives.
Dive Club Events:
1. New Years Day Club Dive.
2. Wooden Boat Festival, This is
always Mothers Day weekend.
3. Breakfast and Swap Meet.
Lots of organizational issues.
4. Pumpkin Carving. Date needs to
be set before September and promoted.
5. Christmas Party, Also needs to
be set way in advance, Check with all
members on date.
6. We should do at least I club
dive per month,
